Patrick Meira was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 8th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wojciech Duda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Mazinho Mazza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazinho Mazza in the 37th minute of play. The Los Hermanos CIMZ fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Los Hermanos CIMZ's Mazinho Mazza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Peru's Rafael Gallo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wojciech Duda. That made the score 3-2 after 89 minutes of play. In the 92nd minute, Rafael Gallo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Los Hermanos CIMZ made a substitution. Lucas Moura replaced Lucas Folden. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Peru players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
