Honduras's Edmundo Espiga couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Agroboys SM - CIMZ. In the 20th minute, Moises Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valério Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 24 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 25th minute of play forced Agroboys SM - CIMZ's goalkeeper Valério Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Luca Espinar got a free kick in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Marco Hoffmann notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 41 minutes into the match, Agroboys SM - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Valério Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Agroboys SM - CIMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Valério Monteiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 47thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Valério Monteiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Honduras were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Valério Monteiro. Agroboys SM - CIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 55 minutes into the game, Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Marco Hoffmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Valério Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 61st minute of the match. Marco Hoffmann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. Régis Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. The supporters of Agroboys SM - CIMZ booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Ocampo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cléberson Munhoz hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Agroboys SM - CIMZ's goalkeeper Valério Monteiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. Tião de Amaral's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tião de Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th match minute, Agroboys SM - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tião de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Régis Porto in the 76th minute of play. After 77 minutes Honduras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cássio Alcântara who took care of the corner kick. Valério Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 80th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Agroboys SM - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Valério Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 88th minute of play forced Agroboys SM - CIMZ's goalkeeper Valério Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Tião de Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Agroboys SM - CIMZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
