Thiago Pliego was a little too slow when Mazinho Mazza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 17th minute Mazinho Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Luisinho do Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazinho Mazza in the 23rd minute of play. Jose Manzanedo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Mazinho Mazza took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 37th minute, Mazinho Mazza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Hermanos CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazinho Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazinho Mazza in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of Los Hermanos CIMZ booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Manzanedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. Wojciech Duda made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute, Mazinho Mazza made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Wojciech Duda in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazinho Mazza in the 76th minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mazinho Mazza in the 80th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wojciech Duda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head.
