The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hernan Lehen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Nippur de Lagash 2's Tito Chayo got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Cordarell in the 63rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Casimiro Cordarell made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. In the 70th minute of the game Gavino De Mitri made a throw-in which Casimiro Cordarell played forward.
