An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 5th minute of play forced Green Dragons Reaktywacja's goalkeeper Bartlomiej Sala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Bartlomiej Sala. Green Dragons Reaktywacja's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Bartlomiej Sala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play. Leonard Wojton charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 16th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Green Dragons Reaktywacja's Bartlomiej Sala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bartlomiej Sala. 0-2. Bartlomiej Sala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartlomiej Sala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Green Dragons Reaktywacja's Leonard Wojton got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
After having played for 53 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Green Dragons Reaktywacja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position.
