Lili Cavalli's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lili Cavalli helped the player get up and apologised. Lili Cavalli hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Moulay Faudel took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The supporters of Kashima Antlers booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Beldad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moulay Faudel in the 12th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Moulay Faudel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla got a free kick in the 16th minute. If Moulay Faudel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Camilo Covarrubias hit a great ball. Fawzi Ramdane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 21st minute of play. Fawzi Ramdane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 26th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves 张晨奕 could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Joaquin Gayoso however easily saved by the left post. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 张晨奕, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32ndth minute of the game Moulay Faudel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kashima Antlers's Fawzi Ramdane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 34th minute of play. In the 36thth minute of the game Maximiliano Escribano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kashima Antlers's Fawzi Ramdane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 37 minutes of play, Kashima Antlers's 张晨奕 made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Moulay Faudels short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Moulay Faudel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Moulay Faudel did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Kashima Antlers's goalkeeper Fawzi Ramdane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximiliano Escribano. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moulay Faudel in the 54th minute of play. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Fawzi Ramdane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Kashima Antlers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamza Souakri to maneuver through the defense. Kashima Antlers made a substitution. Edmond Azzizi-Kettab replaced Moulay Faudel. In the 58th match minute, Kashima Antlers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamza Souakri to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Lili Cavalli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Gisbert in the 61st minute of play forced Kashima Antlers's goalkeeper Fawzi Ramdane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Camilo Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Lili Cavalli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kashima Antlers's supporters rose to their feet, but Lili Cavalli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lili Cavalli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Lili Cavalli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Lili Cavalli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Lili Cavalli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Fawzi Ramdane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Gisbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Fawzi Ramdane in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the game, Lili Cavalli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nasreddine Zarabi kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lili Cavalli in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Kashima Antlers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdellah Medjadi Temmam to maneuver through the defense. Lili Cavalli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lili Cavalli went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score.
