Oskar Malmgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 15th minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Åke Ståhlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Engström, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Guillermo Fontirroig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Hamnberg in the 20th minute of play. Åmselle BF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Michael Engström in the 31st minute of the match. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arne Hamnberg was the one to do the kick off. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Åke Ståhlberg in the 52nd minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa scored 1-5 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oskar Malmgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oskar Malmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Oskar Malmgren in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oskar Malmgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 72nd minute. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Oskar Malmgren made a huge save. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oskar Malmgren having to make a save.
