The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Toni Nenchev notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Patapon FC's Abel Villapadierna. Abel Villapadierna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 8 minutes, Antim Karamanski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DARAS and the Patapon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcos Pachistre charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcos Pachistre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcos Pachistre kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Toni Nenchev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Abel Villapadierna made a huge save. Abel Villapadierna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonzo Ivanov went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Gonzo Ivanov took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Abel Villapadierna to make any attempt to save it. Gonzo Ivanov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Villapadierna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Patapon FC's goalkeeper Abel Villapadierna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toni Nenchev. 31 minutes into the match, Gonzo Ivanov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abel Villapadierna, 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonzo Ivanov in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Villapadierna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Volodya Biradzhiev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dragan Mangezov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Patapon FC booed when DARAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antim Karamanski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Villapadierna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzo Ivanov in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toni Nenchev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abel Villapadierna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toni Nenchev went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzo Ivanov in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Villapadierna saved Patapon FC from getting behind. Abel Villapadierna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonzo Ivanov's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Toni Nenchev sped through Patapon FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Abel Villapadierna. Domiku Caraballo kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. DARAS's Paolo Rossi was substituted for Toni Nenchev. In the 63rd match minute, Patapon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domiku Caraballo to maneuver through the defense. Abel Villapadierna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Volodya Biradzhiev in the 64th minute of play. If Nano Mitrashkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Villapadierna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paolo Rossi went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Abel Villapadierna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. After some careless play in the Patapon FC defense, Gonzo Ivanov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Villapadierna. The Patapon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Villapadierna should have stopped the shot. Abel Villapadierna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzo Ivanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the game, DARAS's Gonzo Ivanov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abel Villapadierna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. Abel Villapadierna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzo Ivanov in the 96th minute of the match. DARAS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
