In the 5th minute Cyprian Bugno suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Alberto Tafalla fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Alberto Tafalla a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. Felix Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Benedykt Chwalkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Aureliusz Dlugi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hardy Skallergård in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Gregorczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KS Blizne's Edgar Gregorczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 29th minute of play. Edgar Gregorczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of KS Blizne's Edgar Gregorczyk. Edgar Gregorczyk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edgar Gregorczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 34th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hardy Skallergård, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Edgar Gregorczyk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Mexico were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. KS Blizne's Edgar Gregorczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 56th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyryl Dziurowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of KS Blizne booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliusz Dlugi in the 59th minute of play. Cezary Haszczak was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 67 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, one of KS Blizne:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KS Blizne. KS Blizne's Edgar Gregorczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 71st minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Lautaro Mancebo in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by KS Blizne's Aureliusz Dlugi. Edgar Gregorczyk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 78th minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tymoteusz Domaracki in the 83rd minute of the match. Cyryl Dziurowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Gregorczyk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgar Gregorczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 97th minute of play.
