Orlando da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 33rd minute, Garopaba F.C's Cauan dos Santos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. 38 minutes into the match, Dedé Correia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares, 3-2. Pedro Manzanares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dedé Correia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 41 minute of play. Dedé Correia struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garopaba F.C. The corner led Colombia's Axel Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which Orlando da Cunha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Wambasther Özil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Wambasther Özil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Garopaba F.C's Keven Swift got a free kick in the 65th minute. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Garopaba F.C made a substitution. Rogelio Urtungo replaced Dedé Correia. After 73 played minutes Garopaba F.C got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Gajardo.
