After some careless play in the Academia B.F. defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Catarinense. The Academia B.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Catarinense should have stopped the shot. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primo Sans in the 16th minute of play. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lauro Quirino during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 played minutes Academia B.F. got a freekick which was hit by Lauro Quirino. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Catarinense. Vicente Catarinense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The audience was convinced that Primo Sans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Wiliam Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Catarinense having to interfere. When Ecuador's Felix Montenegro in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Academia B.F.'s goalie prevented a goal. Vicente Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's attack was well implemented in the 41st minute, but when Daniel Zorita was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Primo Sans to strike the kick off in the second half. Zachary Mentus kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Academia B.F.'s Vicente Catarinense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Academia B.F. from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 55th minute. The corner ended in Felix Montes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Academia B.F.'s Vicente Catarinense did a great save. 58 minutes into the match, Academia B.F.'s goalkeeper Vicente Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Daniel Zorita spun around in front of the goal 58 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Academia B.F.'s goal. Primo Sans struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Academia B.F.. Academia B.F.'s João Francisco Fontes was substituted for Wiliam Carioca. Academia B.F. made a substitution. Michel Totti replaced Primo Sans. Academia B.F.'s Vicente Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 69th minute of play. Luis Andino succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 69th playminute. The referee showed João Francisco Fontes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 89 played minutes Academia B.F. got a freekick which was hit by João Francisco Fontes. Vicente Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Josué Godoi during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Academia B.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josué Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
