Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fabiano Vaz having to interfere. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Sebastião Xavier scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Sebastião Xavier sent off a good shot on target. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a ARON FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ARON FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maicon Viana in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when ARON FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino Alvarenga didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A very good chance for a goal. After 51st play minutes Tomas Illescas shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Luís Fabiano Vaz and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, ARON FC's Adelino Alvarenga got a free kick in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Sebastião Xavier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ARON FC made a substitution. Manuel Bueno replaced Sebastião Xavier. In the 62nd minute of the game Adelino Alvarenga made a throw-in which Maicon Viana played forward. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Bueno in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute ARON FC were awarded a corner. Maicon Viana went to the cornerflag to take it. Luís Fabiano Vaz made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Luís Fabiano Vaz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Manuel Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 78 minutes into the match, Manuel Bueno notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Proença in the 82nd minute of the match. Edu Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Edu Proença made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 91st minute, Edu Proença left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ARON FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Manuel Bueno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the ARON FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
