Mai Yao Yao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mai Yao Yao prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd match minute, Fracasados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Giraldo to maneuver through the defense. Theagenis Papageorgiou might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Theagenis Papageorgiou ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Fracasados's Mai Yao Yao. Mai Yao Yao was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felix Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Mai Yao Yao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. 37 minutes into the match, Fracasados's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Mai Yao Yao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mai Yao Yao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Tab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 44th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mai Yao Yao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 57 minutes Fracasados's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 58th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theagenis Papageorgiou in the 61st minute of play. If Javier Beti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Theagenis Papageorgiou went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Beti in the 87th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theagenis Papageorgiou in the 93rd minute of play. Yan Hai Ang kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th match minute, Fracasados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yan Hai Ang to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Fracasados to leave the ground with a draw.
