The wind increased when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off in the second half. Joshua Garrido hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Tristan's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Abram Secada might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Biagio Tolin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abram Secada ran back to his position shaking his head. 77 minutes into the game, Alvaro Tolin threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Antonio Indiano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Colombia's Abram Secada in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
