With an extended leg and a bit of luck Betinho Moura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Betinho Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 13th minute of the match. SESI UNITED's Betinho Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 14th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, SESI UNITED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 邱永志 to maneuver through the defense. After 21 minutes, 邱永志 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SESI UNITED and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SESI UNITED getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. 邱永志 hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jaime Pardo sped through SESI UNITED's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Betinho Moura. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tincho Palermo got free with Jacobo Nores in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th minute of the match, Cristiano Matorin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jacobo Nores saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Escribano. In the 46th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betinho Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristiano Matorin to make the kick off. With his leg Betinho Moura managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Paraguay's Jaime Pardo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tincho Palermo in the 68th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Matorin came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paraguay's Ivan Prats managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ma Kuan Yun in the 78 minute of the game. 80 minutes into the match, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Betinho Moura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 邱永志 went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tincho Palermo in the 89th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Covarrubias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betinho Moura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaime Pardo came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Betinho Moura could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Jaime Pardo put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Betinho Moura. When the match was over Paraguay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SESI UNITED throughout the match.
