Terremoto FC's Kenneth Libesoons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milagros Fraga in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. After 12 minutes, Eliseo Mina made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Terremoto FC's Kenneth Libesoons tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute, C.J. Cox hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Shi Ming sent off a good shot on target. Kenneth Libesoons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 19th minute of the match. Kenneth Libesoons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The supporters of Peru booed when Terremoto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Sesuldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Shi Ming stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
