A collision led to Martin Palermo F.C. getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Celso Felipillo hit a great ball. Tiburcio Pepillo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Martin Palermo F.C.'s Silvio Bazil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 31st minute of play. Despite this Thiago Pliego quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
