Alfredo Torelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Del Piero in the 16th minute of play. Ernesto Giandomenico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Mateusz Smolarek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Mateusz Smolarek came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 19 minute. When Manfredonia Calcio 1932's Mateusz Smolarek in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Arturo Borrelli charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Manfredonia Calcio 1932's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
