Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 9th minute. Macos Graciani made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that OKS Kasta Szczecin-Majowe's Prospero Plaas managed to reach the ball for a save. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Steinecke in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Luque to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Lastur Artolozaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, OKS Kasta Szczecin-Majowe's Prospero Plaas got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
