Jorge Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 12th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, RIVER PINAMAR fc's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Jorge Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 24 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juliano Álvarez. In the 25th minute, Honorio Cresconio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 2-0. After having played for 28 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Felix Ikatz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Felix Ikatz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 37th minute of play. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Cutberto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Jorge Cutberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Felix Ikatz struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RIVER PINAMAR fc. In the 45th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Anastasio Burni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juliano Álvarezs short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juliano Álvarez made a kick off. Anastasio Burni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Ikatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeledon Urdaspal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Jorge Cutberto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 77th minute, Juliano Álvarez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the game, RIVER PINAMAR fc's Anastasio Burni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Venezuela made a substitution. Guillermo Espina replaced Guillermo Mariano. Anastasio Burni kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. RIVER PINAMAR fc had won after a very even match.
