Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 11th minute, Antun Bunić reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 2-0. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antun Bunić in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Antun Bunić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The --Sibenik-- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Jure Cenov made in the 35th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Borislav Tvrdić however managed to control. Antun Bunić struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for --Sibenik--. Borislav Tvrdić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

--Sibenik--'s Meliton Kovič was substituted for Jure Cenov. The wind increased when Borislav Tvrdić made the kick off in the second half. When Jonathan Venegas fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jonathan Venegas a yellow card for diving instead. Alen Kovič took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Alen Kovič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Borislav Tvrdić in the 76th minute of play. Borislav Tvrdić might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Borislav Tvrdić ran back to his position shaking his head. --Sibenik-- made a substitution. Eugen Drača replaced Antun Bunić. In the 86thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but --Sibenik--'s Alen Kovič was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Alen Kovič made a huge save.
