Patric Beck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 10th minute of play. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Patric Beck despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patric Beck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, HİSARCİK ERCiYES FC's Ali Kağan Gilşah got a free kick in the 38th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After having played for 79 minutes, Ubaldo Montrel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güven Eryildiz in the 95th minute of play. HİSARCİK ERCiYES FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Semih Uluğ in the 97th minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Bastian Padolles advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-6 in the 97th minute. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
