Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gruyo Popiliev having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Belasitsa P's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gruyo Popiliev came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Ventzislav Glavev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. With his leg Gruyo Popiliev managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 62 played minutes Belasitsa P got a freekick which was hit by Onuralp Gümüş. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gruyo Popiliev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of Belasitsa P booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ventzislav Glavev's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ventzislav Glavev helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, Ventzislav Glavev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, 庄骏翀 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belasitsa P's supporters rose to their feet, but 庄骏翀 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benislav Filov kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The supporters of Belasitsa P booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Rouco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
