Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Oto in the 15th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Oto came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Gago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute Honduras were awarded a corner. Edmundo Espiga went to the cornerflag to take it. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rodolfo Gago in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Guo Yuan Ting could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. ARGENTINOS.J were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Honduras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Julian Terciero took the corner. ARGENTINOS.J's Julian Terciero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lautaro Navarro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Oto during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Feliciano Urki kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Oto was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Ricardo Oto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Gago saved ARGENTINOS.J from getting behind. In the 62nd minute, Sebastian Villa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rodolfo Gago, passed just outside the right post. Moises Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodolfo Gago. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moises Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Rodolfo Gago made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Gago saved ARGENTINOS.J from getting behind. In the 72ndth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ARGENTINOS.J's Rodolfo Gago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 74th minute, Ricardo Oto made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Ricardo Oto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Navarro hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Luca Espinar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Gago having to interfere. Milagros Cabal kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 94 minutes, Damian Alvarez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ARGENTINOS.J and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ARGENTINOS.J getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Damian Alvarez hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, ARGENTINOS.J could leave the field as winners, despite Honduras having more of the ball for most of the match.
