Peru were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Uetendorf Wanderers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 59 played minutes Julian Murillo rounded Uetendorf Wanderers's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. David Aberle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 62nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Uetendorf Wanderers defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Aberle. The Uetendorf Wanderers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Aberle should have stopped the shot. 66 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Uetendorf Wanderers's David Aberle. David Aberle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The corner led to Peru's Alonso Berganza getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 88th match minute, Uetendorf Wanderers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachary Pionek to maneuver through the defense. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. A collision led to Uetendorf Wanderers getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Zachary Pionek hit a great ball. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özcan Balcik in the 91st minute of play. Rafael Gallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Aberle having to interfere. The Uetendorf Wanderers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
