An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of play forced The Supersaiyan Sorcerers's goalkeeper Glenn Bollaert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Aaron De Keijser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. Arjen Pool struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Supersaiyan Sorcerers. In the 11th minute Aaron De Keijser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, The Supersaiyan Sorcerers's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Glenn Bollaert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aaron De Keijser could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. With an all-out effort, The Supersaiyan Sorcerers's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aaron De Keijser, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 41 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Supersaiyan Sorcerers's Aaron De Keijser got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Aaron De Keijser got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thobias Helsens to strike the kick off in the second half. Aaron De Keijser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Glenn Bollaert made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Thobias Helsens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Glenn Bollaert made a huge save. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after The Supersaiyan Sorcerers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Supersaiyan Sorcerers's Glenn Bollaert did a great save. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Glenn Bollaert. Glenn Bollaert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 72nd minute of the match. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the game, The Supersaiyan Sorcerers's Tudor Romanescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.
