Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Otávio Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 2nd minute of play. After 3 minutes Jaru-Uaru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jaru-Uaru's Otávio Dante did a great save. The audience was convinced that Luis Andino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otávio Dante was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Otávio Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute, Luis Andino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Otávio Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Otávio Dante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Narciso Mendes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Otávio Dante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Nicasio Abreu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 38th minute of play forced Jaru-Uaru's goalkeeper Otávio Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramon Abarca kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Nicasio Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Luís Fernando Vides made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute Nicasio Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Jaru-Uaru's goalkeeper Otávio Dante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Cristian Sanchos short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Otávio Dante to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 83rd minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. With a little luck, Jaru-Uaru's Otávio Dante got control of the ball when Agustín Saelices tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 88 minutes Jaru-Uaru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Ecuador's Luis Andino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Otávio Dante in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
