Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play forced Phoenix's goalkeeper Roman Golob to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Phoenix's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 15th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Golob saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustín Saelices in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Golob prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Tobiasz Kaszubowski sent off a good shot on target. Roman Golob showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of the match. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Phoenix's goalie prevented a goal. Phoenix's Roman Golob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 26th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Maciej Gollob left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Phoenix fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maciej Gollob in the 59th minute of the match. Zikoranachukwudimma von Buol-Schaudenstein kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwo Mios in the 69th minute of play. Roman Golob made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Phoenix's Maciej Gollob got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maciej Gollob in the 80th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Golob showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Phoenix's Roman Golob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 88th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Phoenix got a freekick which was hit by Tobiasz Kaszubowski. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Roman Golob however easily saved by the left post. 93 minutes into the match, Phoenix's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Roman Golob reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 minutes, Cristian Sancho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Phoenix players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball.
