The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 38th minute, Jesus Fix left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CA Juventud Unida fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Santino Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 47thth minute of the game Axel Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CA Juventud Unida's Emil Arendarski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Clodoveo Hanni ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Clodoveo Hanni got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Colombia's Abram Secada got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Abram Secada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jesús Banana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to CA Juventud Unida getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Evaristo Froila hit a great ball. Emil Arendarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 90th minute of the match. Evaristo Froila made in the 92nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rainer Marthaler immediately put the ball in play. Abram Secada in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emil Arendarski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
