In the 7th minute of the match Dimos Koutsovassilis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. In the 8th minute Wit Osielski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 15th minute of play forced Słodkie Cytryny's goalkeeper Filip Pincoski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Słodkie Cytryny's goalie and right to Patricio Costa. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Słodkie Cytryny's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 19th minute of the match Słodkie Cytryny got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Enrico Colella ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Słodkie Cytryny's corner Enrico Colella fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wit Osielski's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 33rd minute Słodkie Cytryny were awarded a corner. Enrico Colella went to the cornerflag to take it. After 34 played minutes Słodkie Cytryny got a freekick which was hit by Piotr Maziarz. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Wit Osielski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Filip Pincoski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wit Osielski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Słodkie Cytryny's Filip Pincoski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafal Cetnar in the 64th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wit Osielski, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Rafal Cetnar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafal Cetnar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Słodkie Cytryny booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafal Cetnar in the 77th minute of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrico Colella scored 3-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wit Osielski in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 88th minute. Enrico Colella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wit Osielski in the 92nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Słodkie Cytryny's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
