Poli AEK's Nicolae Ghiorman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fellipe Cosme in the 11th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Poli AEK's goalkeeper Nicolae Ghiorman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fellipe Cosme. Frederico Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zafer Fırat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 minutes of play, GynBsb's Fellipe Cosme made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolae Ghiorman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vivaldo Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul Danielsson kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wictor Brovall to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Danielsson in the 56th minute of play forced Poli AEK's goalkeeper Nicolae Ghiorman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Vivaldo Fernandes made a precise shot to the right of Nicolae Ghiorman. Poli AEK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 60th match minute, Poli AEK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Smed to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Dráusio de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Poli AEK's Dan Balint got a free kick in the 76th minute. Nicolae Ghiorman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fellipe Cosme in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Dráusio de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Narcis Copil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
