Lunáticos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marshrose the free kick. After 10 played minutes Lunáticos FC got a freekick which was hit by Geovani do Nascimento. The audience was convinced that Bara Miss's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Răzvan Fințescu was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Bara Miss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Fințescu having to interfere. Răzvan Fințescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bara Miss in the 19th minute of play. After 21 minutes of play Lunáticos FC's Geovani do Nascimento was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 23rd minute, Edu Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute of the match Julio Kearney shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Răzvan Fințescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 26th minute, Zézinho Lago fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Santiago Hatch, passed just outside the right post. In the 28th minute Bara Miss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Răzvan Fințescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Bara Miss who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lunáticos FC's Răzvan Fințescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bara Miss struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Răzvan Fințescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marshrose. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Rupert McClure managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marshrose's supporters rose to their feet, but Rupert McClure was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Răzvan Fințescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bara Miss was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Bara Miss got a very nice opportunity to score, but Răzvan Fințescu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 78 minutes of play, Lunáticos FC's Zézinho Lago made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santiago Hatch was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernandinho Fontes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santiago Hatch having to make a save. Bara Miss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Fințescu having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bara Miss got free with Răzvan Fințescu in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 92 minutes, Fernandinho Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lunáticos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernandinho Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Răzvan Fințescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bara Miss in the 94th minute. The Marshrose players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
