The supporters of Vingadores F.C U23 booed when Clube do Remo MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juliusz Kaczeniak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 minutes of play, Clube do Remo MZ's Doriva Pinho made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juliusz Kaczeniak was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st minute, Doriva Pinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juliusz Kaczeniak was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Doriva Pinho put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Juliusz Kaczeniak. Tiaguinho Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto Romário in the 42nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Mário Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Clube do Remo MZ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
