Atletico Aragua FC's Flavio Urizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Gustafsson in the 43rd minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Renato Nunez-Tesheira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tobias Löfgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Renato Nunez-Tesheira to make the kick off. After 55 minutes of play, Kerkûk FC's Lukas Gustafsson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Urizar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wiktor Brogren charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wiktor Brogren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Buinton Barreda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Tobias Löfgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kerkûk FC's Tobias Löfgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Nunez-Tesheira in the 81st minute of play. Kerkûk FC's Tobias Löfgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Kerkûk FC from getting a goal against them. Lukas Gustafsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Urizar having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Thomas Lundberg in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Atletico Aragua FC's Buinton Barreda. Renato Nunez-Tesheira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Löfgren having to interfere. Atletico Aragua FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
