Saverio Cordeiro came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Răzvan Fințescu could save by the left post. The supporters of Real Ayuntamiento CF booed when Lunáticos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edu Camargo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eloy Sidro in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Răzvan Fințescu saved Lunáticos FC from getting behind. 23 minutes into the match, Lunáticos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Sidro came free, but Răzvan Fințescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Răzvan Fințescu came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Ayuntamiento CF's Placido Quintin. But to his dismay, Placido Quintin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Real Ayuntamiento CF's Saverio Cordeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Real Ayuntamiento CF's Eloy Sidro in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lunáticos FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lunáticos FC's goalkeeper Răzvan Fințescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 33rdth minute of the game Eloy Sidro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lunáticos FC's Răzvan Fințescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eloy Sidro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 36th minute. Real Ayuntamiento CF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Real Ayuntamiento CF's Eloy Sidro in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lunáticos FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 40th minute, Placido Quintin made a precise shot to the right of Răzvan Fințescu. Lunáticos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eloy Sidro in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Răzvan Fințescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Placido Quintin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Saverio Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geovani do Nascimento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Saverio Cordeiro scored 5-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Răzvan Fințescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eloy Sidro struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Răzvan Fințescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Ayuntamiento CF. If Eloy Sidro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eloy Sidro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Răzvan Fințescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Eloy Sidro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Răzvan Fințescu having to make a save. 57 minutes into the match, Placido Quintin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Răzvan Fințescu. Lunáticos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Placido Quintin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. The audience was convinced that Eloy Sidro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Răzvan Fințescu was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Eloy Sidro put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Răzvan Fințescu. The Real Ayuntamiento CF fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Real Ayuntamiento CF's Eloy Sidro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Real Ayuntamiento CF's zone, Zézinho Lago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Enmanuel came out of the goal and Zézinho Lago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Răzvan Fințescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Quintin in the 88th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eloy Sidro in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Răzvan Fințescu saved Lunáticos FC from getting behind. 90 minutes into the match, Lunáticos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Cordeiro came free, but Răzvan Fințescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Ayuntamiento CF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Christian Errando in the 91st minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Real Ayuntamiento CF fully deserved thier win.
