After having played for 10 minutes, Saverio Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Ayuntamiento CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saverio Cordeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Atletico Aragua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Sidro came free, but Flavio Urizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Placido Quintin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Urizar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Sidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute of the match Bruno Florin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavio Urizar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Real Ayuntamiento CF's Eloy Sidro got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flavio Urizar made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Eloy Sidro sent off a good shot on target. 85 minutes into the match, Real Ayuntamiento CF's Placido Quintin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Urizar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eloy Sidro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Flavio Urizar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Atletico Aragua FC's Flavio Urizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Sidro in the 89th minute of play. Saverio Cordeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Urizar having to make a save. In the 92nd minute Eloy Sidro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Urizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Atletico Aragua FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Real Ayuntamiento CF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
