The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9thth minute of the game Geovani do Nascimento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AKINCILAR DeLiLeR's Aristides Abascal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernandinho Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Fernandinho Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seyrani Berat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Bastos having to interfere. After 26 played minutes AKINCILAR DeLiLeR got a freekick which was hit by Hüseyin Turan Işık. Tahir Oran kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The supporters of AKINCILAR DeLiLeR booed when Lunáticos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovani do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ali Tavgaç got in the 37th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Valdir Bastos handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Aristides Abascal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Britto in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Fernandinho Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute Walmir Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Abascal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Geovani do Nascimento made a kick off. When Geovani do Nascimento fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lunáticos FC's protests and gave Geovani do Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. After 67 played minutes AKINCILAR DeLiLeR got a freekick which was hit by Tahir Oran. Aristides Abascal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zézinho Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute Lunáticos FC were awarded a corner. Walmir Britto went to the cornerflag to take it. Valdir Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Tavgaç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Seyrani Berat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Bastos having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seyrani Berat in the 85th minute of play forced Lunáticos FC's goalkeeper Valdir Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdir Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rıfat Usbey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lunáticos FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
