The supporters of Tallboda Gunners booed when Näshulta FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pontus Lindqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl-Erik Ahlboms short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Erland Spetz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The nice shot from Lennart Fredriksson in the 13thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Erland Spetz had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. A hard shot 22 in the game by Karl-Erik Ahlbom from a close distance when the talented Erland Spetz managed to make a qualified save. Näshulta FK's players were relieved. Näshulta FK's Erland Spetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Erik Ahlbom in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Näshulta FK getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Frans Aleberg hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the game, Lennart Fredriksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Erland Spetz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Näshulta FK's Frans Aleberg got a free kick in the 29th minute. Karl-Erik Ahlboms short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Erland Spetz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Erland Spetz made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Karl-Erik Ahlbom sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Erik Ahlbom was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play Näshulta FK's Frans Aleberg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Erland Spetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Erik Ahlbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Näshulta FK's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Erik Ahlbom came free, but Erland Spetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lennart Fredriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erland Spetz having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Karl-Erik Ahlbom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alf Skräddare struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Henning Hernström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Näshulta FK. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Alf Skräddare managed to get in a good position for a shot. Näshulta FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Alf Skräddare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henning Hernström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kennet Liljeström's late challenge caught a Näshulta FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kennet Liljeström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th match minute, Tallboda Gunners was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kennet Liljeström to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Karl-Erik Ahlbom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erland Spetz was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After 84 minutes, Karl-Ove Sandström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Näshulta FK and the Tallboda Gunners players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes Näshulta FK got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Ove Sandström. If Karl-Erik Ahlbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Tallboda Gunners players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
