Byron Wills didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Renato Nunez-Tesheira went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 8 minutes into the match, Bara Miss notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Atletico Aragua FC's Flavio Urizar. Flavio Urizar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Renato Nunez-Tesheira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Marshrose's zone, Renato Nunez-Tesheira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Byron Wills came out of the goal and Renato Nunez-Tesheira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 20 minutes, Micael Gregorio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Aragua FC and the Marshrose players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Atletico Aragua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Micael Gregorio to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Urizar was a little too slow when Bara Miss got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-1. After having played for 29 minutes, Renato Nunez-Tesheira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Aragua FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renato Nunez-Tesheira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Atletico Aragua FC's Micael Gregorio got a free kick in the 34th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renato Nunez-Tesheira in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Byron Wills prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Atletico Aragua FC fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Atletico Aragua FC's Renato Nunez-Tesheira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Renato Nunez-Tesheira made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Atletico Aragua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Micael Gregorio to maneuver through the defense. Julio Kearney kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Atletico Aragua FC's Isauro Bolinaga got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute, Bara Miss got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Buinton Barreda's late challenge caught a Marshrose's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Buinton Barreda helped the player get up and apologised. Buinton Barreda kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 68 minutes, Emir Iğdırlı mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marshrose and the Atletico Aragua FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pedro Maldonado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Marcelo Landeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcelo Landeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bara Miss during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th match minute, Marshrose was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bara Miss to maneuver through the defense. Micael Gregorio struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Byron Wills didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Aragua FC. After having played for 92 minutes, Bara Miss managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marshrose's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bara Miss was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Byron Wills made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Marcelo Landeta sent off a good shot on target.
