The referee ignored Clube do Remo MZ's protests and gave João Sena a yellow card for diving instead. João Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Juliane Álvarez made a precise shot to the right of Cléber Pinho. Clube do Remo MZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juliane Álvarez in the 17th minute of play forced Clube do Remo MZ's goalkeeper Cléber Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes Vingadores F.C U23 got a freekick which was hit by Bebeto Romário. Manfredo Breckenfeld's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Juliusz Kaczeniak firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cléber Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto Romário in the 23rd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Anderson Donatello in the 24th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Vingadores F.C U23's Elton John. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Juliusz Kaczeniak successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Juliusz Kaczeniak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor de Sena in the 27th minute. Clube do Remo MZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anderson Donatello in the 28th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bebeto Romário made a kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfredo Breckenfeld in the 59th minute of play forced Vingadores F.C U23's goalkeeper Juliusz Kaczeniak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Clube do Remo MZ's Cléber Pinho got control of the ball when Juliane Álvarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. A well placed Juliane Álvarez short distance shot in the 67th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Manfredo Breckenfeld took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juliusz Kaczeniak. Juliusz Kaczeniak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Vingadores F.C U23 made a substitution. Elói Donato replaced Bebeto Romário. Vingadores F.C U23's Pavel Nedvěd was substituted for Zoltán Kocsis. In the 76th minute Elói Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléber Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Clube do Remo MZ had held the ball for most of the match.
