A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dalmu Coello was slow to take the kick. During this time Froghino's players had a chance to rest. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Jiří Skrbek sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute, Froghino's Jiří Skrbek ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Froghino's Radislav Hošťálek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radislav Hošťálek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radislav Hošťálek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radislav Hošťálek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Radislav Hošťálek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute of the match, Jiří Skrbek got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Radislav Hošťálek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Froghino's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Radislav Hošťálek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jiří Skrbek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Radislav Hošťálek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 61st minute. Dalmu Coello's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dalmu Coello helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th match minute, Froghino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmu Coello to maneuver through the defense. Froghino's David Vencl was substituted for Vítor Raposo. After a rather tough play, Froghino's Dalmu Coello got a free kick in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Froghino's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Radislav Hošťálek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
