In the 9th match minute, VFB ST.leon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Drappatz to maneuver through the defense. Calvin Fuchs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Timo Atan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VFB ST.leon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, Calvin Fuchs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frederico Thorbrügge. Brezis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Calvin Fuchs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A collision led to Brezis getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Jost Hofacker hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Timo Atan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calvin Fuchs in the 32nd minute of play forced Brezis's goalkeeper Frederico Thorbrügge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederico Thorbrügge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timo Atan in the 37th minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timo Atan to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Küpperbusch during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Richard Küpperbusch hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Timo Atan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederico Thorbrügge having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Calvin Fuchs managed to get in a good position for a shot. VFB ST.leon's supporters rose to their feet, but Calvin Fuchs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederico Thorbrügge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Lutz Gädechens came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Brezis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lutz Gädechens couldn't finish the play. A collision led to VFB ST.leon getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Achmed Hammerschlag hit a great ball. After 69 played minutes, Brezis's Samir Block shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tommy Haug came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brezis reached it. 72 minutes into the match, Jost Hofacker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Haug. VFB ST.leon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jost Hofacker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. With a little luck, Brezis's Frederico Thorbrügge got control of the ball when Calvin Fuchs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frederico Thorbrügge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timo Atan's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Brezis's Frederico Thorbrügge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Brezis from getting a goal against them. If Markus Paul Janssen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederico Thorbrügge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timo Atan in the 90th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes VFB ST.leon got a freekick which was hit by Hauke Hoffmann. Frederico Thorbrügge was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Timo Atan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Timo Atan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3.
