Calvin Fuchs in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Czeslaw Januszewski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Timo Atan kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timo Atan in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Czeslaw Januszewski saved Potyry from getting behind. Czeslaw Januszewski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Timo Atan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachariasz Wykowski in the 16th minute of play forced VFB ST.leon's goalkeeper Tommy Haug to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, VFB ST.leon's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Kluczyk came free, but Tommy Haug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olaf Kluczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Tommy Haug tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Czeslaw Januszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timo Atan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes, Zachariasz Wykowski made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. VFB ST.leon's Tommy Haug tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to VFB ST.leon getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Hauke Hoffmann hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the game, Gwidon Skonieczny was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Potyry's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VFB ST.leon the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Potyry:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of VFB ST.leon:s goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timo Atan to make the kick off. Gwidon Skonieczny hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Potyry's Czeslaw Januszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timo Atan in the 58th minute of play. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Potyry! After a defensive mix-up in Potyry's zone, Calvin Fuchs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Czeslaw Januszewski came out of the goal and Calvin Fuchs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Potyry booed when VFB ST.leon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siegfried Mansour Al didn't get a good kick on the ball. Czeslaw Januszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calvin Fuchs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Timo Atan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in VFB ST.leon's zone, Zachariasz Wykowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Haug came out of the goal and Zachariasz Wykowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to VFB ST.leon getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Hauke Hoffmann hit a great ball. The supporters of VFB ST.leon booed when Potyry was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konrad Trzemzalski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 97 minutes, Timo Atan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VFB ST.leon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timo Atan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. VFB ST.leon's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
