Timo Atan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 齐凡俊 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Siegfried Mansour Al during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to VFB ST.leon getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Siegfried Mansour Al hit a great ball. Calvin Fuchs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 齐凡俊 having to interfere. The supporters of VFB ST.leon booed when 廣州仔 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. 方思正 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves 洪云光 could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Tommy Haug however easily saved by the left post. 32 minutes into the game, VFB ST.leon's Calvin Fuchs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 齐凡俊 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When Hauke Hoffmann fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VFB ST.leon's protests and gave Hauke Hoffmann a yellow card for diving instead. Calvin Fuchs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timo Atan in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 齐凡俊 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 齐凡俊 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timo Atan in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, 廣州仔's 洪云光 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Haug narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Hauke Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The 廣州仔 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. VFB ST.leon were winning 0-2.

俞岩景 scored 1-3 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Haug, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 俞岩景 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommy Haug came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by 廣州仔's 俞岩景. But to his dismay, 俞岩景 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After a rather tough play, 廣州仔's 方思正 got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 70th minute Timo Atan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 齐凡俊 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Haug showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 洪云光, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Calvin Fuchs in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of 齐凡俊, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tommy Haug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 洪云光 in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, VFB ST.leon's goal looked a bit too open when 俞岩景 came free, but Tommy Haug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 minutes of play, 廣州仔's 俞岩景 made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Haug was left in no man's land by his defense there! When 廣州仔's 俞岩景 in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VFB ST.leon's goalie prevented a goal. Wolf Specht hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. If 俞岩景 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 93 minutes of play, 廣州仔's 洪云光 made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Haug was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 廣州仔 fans cheered their team off the field, for while VFB ST.leon had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
