Peralta's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Ciarán McCollion scored to the left of an out of position Eugenio Uhin, making the score, 1-0. In the 11th minute, Peralta's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ciarán McCollion fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Eugenio Uhin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciarán McCollion, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Peralta. Honorato Naelio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Boyle McJohn. 1-1. 18 minutes into the match, Knocktemple FC's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Elazar came free, but Boyle McJohn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Brazil McPaul ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugenio Uhin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Peralta's Eugenio Uhin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Peralta from getting a goal against them. Boyle McJohn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Abechuco, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, one of Knocktemple FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Knocktemple FC. The referee gave Peralta a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Honorato Naelio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Knocktemple FC's Boyle McJohn. 2-2. Eugenio Uhin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciarán McCollion in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match Knocktemple FC got a corner. Peralta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dewain Tracy ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Knocktemple FC's Dewain Tracy to fire away a dangerous shot which Eugenio Uhin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciarán McCollion in the 38th minute of play forced Peralta's goalkeeper Eugenio Uhin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 minutes, Cullan Prunty mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Knocktemple FC and the Peralta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ciarán McCollion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the match, Brazil McPaul dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eugenio Uhin, 3-2. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciarán McCollion in the 55th minute of play forced Peralta's goalkeeper Eugenio Uhin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Knocktemple FC's Boyle McJohn got control of the ball when Prospero Tabor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eugenio Uhin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brazil McPaul's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. The Knocktemple FC fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Knocktemple FC's Brazil McPaul looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Peralta defense, Ciarán McCollion kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio Uhin. The Peralta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Uhin should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brazil McPaul in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Uhin saved Peralta from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brazil McPaul in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugenio Uhin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the match, Knocktemple FC's Ciarán McCollion sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eugenio Uhin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 77 minutes of play, Knocktemple FC's Brazil McPaul made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugenio Uhin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 80 played minutes Peralta got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Abechuco. Prospero Tabor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Boyle McJohn having to make a save. In the 95th minute, Knocktemple FC's Dewain Tracy seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dewain Tracy the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Knocktemple FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dewain Tracy had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Knocktemple FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Dewain Tracy hit a great ball. Honorato Naelio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Knocktemple FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
