Claus Pellmann kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. When Richard Küpperbusch fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brezis's protests and gave Richard Küpperbusch a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Brezis's Richard Küpperbusch got a free kick in the 14th minute. Frederico Thorbrügge was a little too slow when Timo Atan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. Timo Atan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 26 minutes into the match, Calvin Fuchs notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Brezis's Frederico Thorbrügge. Frederico Thorbrügge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lutz Gädechens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Markus Paul Janssen to strike the kick off in the second half. Jost Hofacker hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Frederico Thorbrügge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calvin Fuchs, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, VFB ST.leon's Timo Atan got a free kick in the 71st minute. Frederico Thorbrügge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calvin Fuchs in the 74th minute of the match. Lutz Gädechens who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Tommy Haug when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 80 minutes into the match, VFB ST.leon's goalkeeper Tommy Haug had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lutz Gädechens. Lutz Gädechens's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Tommy Haug skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When VFB ST.leon's Timo Atan in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brezis's goalie prevented a goal. Jost Hofacker's late challenge caught a VFB ST.leon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jost Hofacker helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Brezis's Jost Hofacker got a free kick in the 87th minute. VFB ST.leon's Claus Pellmann couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 88th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Brezis. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timo Atan in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frederico Thorbrügge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 96th match minute, Brezis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Küpperbusch to maneuver through the defense. After 96 played minutes, VFB ST.leon's Claus Pellmann shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Frederico Thorbrügge came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in VFB ST.leon reached it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The VFB ST.leon fans cheered their team off the field, for while Brezis had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
