The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Teofil Sidorowicz in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ali Behzat Arslantürk, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofil Sidorowicz got free with Ali Behzat Arslantürk in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute, Andrzej Teofila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andrzej Teofila blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ali Behzat Arslantürk having to make a save. Ahmet İlke İlham kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Andrzej Teofila was extremely unlucky when he, in the 14th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of KGHM ZESPOŁ KAMILA booed when Fenerbahçe Beko was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Arif Çelen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes Fenerbahçe Beko got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Arif Çelen. 23 minutes into the game, Erhan Ülkenur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jan Kiszkiel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 30 played minutes Andrzej Teofila rounded Fenerbahçe Beko's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Erhan Ülkenur took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan Kiszkiel. Jan Kiszkiel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the last second Ali Behzat Arslantürk throw himself and got hold of the ball when Andrzej Teofila in the 39thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a rather tough play, KGHM ZESPOŁ KAMILA's Fryderyk Polakowski got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute of the match Hakan Temirhan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan Kiszkiel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fenerbahçe Beko's Ali Behzat Arslantürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrzej Teofila in the 45th minute of play. Ali Behzat Arslantürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrzej Teofila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

In the 52nd minute of the match KGHM ZESPOŁ KAMILA got a corner. Fenerbahçe Beko's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wladyslaw Rojewski ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Andrzej Teofila managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Mariusz Cuber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erhan Ülkenur charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erhan Ülkenur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Erhan Ülkenur kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe Beko's Ahmet Çağrı Vecihi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Kiszkiel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Erhan Ülkenur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrzej Teofila blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ali Behzat Arslantürk having to make a save. The supporters of KGHM ZESPOŁ KAMILA booed when Fenerbahçe Beko was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet İlke İlham didn't get a good kick on the ball. The KGHM ZESPOŁ KAMILA fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when KGHM ZESPOŁ KAMILA's Andrzej Teofila looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 73rd match minute, KGHM ZESPOŁ KAMILA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrzej Kossakowski to maneuver through the defense. Ali Behzat Arslantürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofil Sidorowicz in the 77th minute of play. Ahmet Çağrı Vecihi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Jan Kiszkiel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Erhan Ülkenur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan Kiszkiel was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Jan Kiszkiel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erhan Ülkenur's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Erhan Ülkenurs short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Jan Kiszkiel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ali Behzat Arslantürk came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by KGHM ZESPOŁ KAMILA's Teofil Sidorowicz. But to his dismay, Teofil Sidorowicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. KGHM ZESPOŁ KAMILA's Andrzej Teofila got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that KGHM ZESPOŁ KAMILA were the better team. KGHM ZESPOŁ KAMILA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
