In the 16th minute of the match, Andrzej Kossakowski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wesley Rush was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 24th minute of the match Lenny Theobald shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan Kiszkiel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Feridun Eronat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Amsterdam Wanderers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feridun Eronat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andrzej Kossakowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Feridun Eronat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 33rd minute of the match Lenny Theobald shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan Kiszkiel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When FC Amsterdam Wanderers's Feridun Eronat in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Adam Chowaniec didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feridun Eronat in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Kiszkiel saved KGHM ZESPOŁ KAMILA from getting behind. Adrian Rowling's late challenge caught a KGHM ZESPOŁ KAMILA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Rowling helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Adrian Rowling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrzej Teofila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Wesley Rush made a huge save. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feridun Eronat to make the kick off. Jan Kiszkiel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feridun Eronat in the 54th minute. After some careless play in the FC Amsterdam Wanderers defense, Andrzej Teofila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wesley Rush. The FC Amsterdam Wanderers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wesley Rush should have stopped the shot. The referee showed Adam Chowaniec the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jan Kiszkiel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Love's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. FC Amsterdam Wanderers's Wesley Rush played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Chowaniec in the 81st minute of play. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Feridun Eronat sped through KGHM ZESPOŁ KAMILA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jan Kiszkiel. Feridun Eronats short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Jan Kiszkiel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. FC Amsterdam Wanderers were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over KGHM ZESPOŁ KAMILA's much stronger midfield.
