Ali Behzat Arslantürk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 22 minutes into the game, Fenerbahçe Beko's Muhsin Çelebi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boyle McJohn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Hakan Temirhan made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Knocktemple FC's Branigan Mullan. Babür Öge scored 2-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boyle McJohn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ali Behzat Arslantürk came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Knocktemple FC's Benedict Rutherford. But to his dismay, Benedict Rutherford quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Rylie McMichel hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, Knocktemple FC's goalkeeper Boyle McJohn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erhan Ülkenur. A collision led to Fenerbahçe Beko getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Kutlualp Eker hit a great ball. Branigan Mullan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ali Behzat Arslantürk. Fenerbahçe Beko's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Fenerbahçe Beko defense, Benedict Rutherford kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Behzat Arslantürk. The Fenerbahçe Beko fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ali Behzat Arslantürk should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Muhsin Çelebi to strike the kick off in the second half. Ali Behzat Arslantürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedict Rutherford in the 53rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Knocktemple FC's Rylie McMichel got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute, Branigan Mullan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedict Rutherford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 played minutes Fenerbahçe Beko got a freekick which was hit by Hakan Temirhan. Knocktemple FC's Boyle McJohn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babür Öge in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Benedict Rutherford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knocktemple FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedict Rutherford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Behzat Arslantürk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the game, one of Fenerbahçe Beko:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Benedict Rutherford took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ali Behzat Arslantürk. Ali Behzat Arslantürk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. When Ciarán McCollion came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Knocktemple FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciarán McCollion couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute of the game Tugay Babürşah made a throw-in which Muhsin Çelebi played forward. Benedict Rutherford received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ali Behzat Arslantürk came out and tried to block the shot, but Benedict Rutherford slotted it home off the left post making it 2-7 in the 89th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Benedict Rutherford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knocktemple FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedict Rutherford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Behzat Arslantürk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ali Behzat Arslantürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedict Rutherford in the 98th minute of the match. Knocktemple FC played a much better game than Fenerbahçe Beko and deserved their victory. The Fenerbahçe Beko players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
