After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Markus Paul Janssen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brezis's supporters rose to their feet, but Markus Paul Janssen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boyle McJohn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Knocktemple FC's Boyle McJohn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Knocktemple FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Brezis booed when Knocktemple FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rylie McMichel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benedict Rutherford took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frederico Thorbrügge. Frederico Thorbrügge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The throw-in from Samir Block in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Knocktemple FC's Críostóir McWilliam. Samir Block made in the 20th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Hugo Mix. The crowd rose to their feet as Brezis's Boris Binding slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Boyle McJohn. That made the score 1-1 after 22 minutes of play. Frederico Thorbrügge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedict Rutherford in the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Knocktemple FC's Benedict Rutherford nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frederico Thorbrügge made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. A sloppy throw-in by Samir Block in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Knocktemple FC's Cullan Prunty. Benedict Rutherford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Brezis's goal looked a bit too open when Benedict Rutherford came free, but Frederico Thorbrügge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes of play, Knocktemple FC's Benedict Rutherford made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frederico Thorbrügge was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th match minute, Brezis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samir Block to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedict Rutherford to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the game, Benedict Rutherford cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Frederico Thorbrügge was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd match minute, Knocktemple FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dolan McBrandon to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Boris Binding got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Knocktemple FC's Breannain Ramsey got a free kick in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Paul Janssen in the 65th minute of play forced Knocktemple FC's goalkeeper Boyle McJohn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedict Rutherford struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Frederico Thorbrügge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Knocktemple FC. In the 72nd minute Benedict Rutherford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederico Thorbrügge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Knocktemple FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Branigan Mullan in the 74th minute. Boyle McJohn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Mix in the 81st minute of the match. With a little luck, Brezis's Frederico Thorbrügge got control of the ball when Benedict Rutherford tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jens Schelewski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Boyle McJohn. Knocktemple FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 96thth minute of the game Benedict Rutherford who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brezis's Frederico Thorbrügge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Knocktemple FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
